Research Interests

I research the evolutionary ecology of cooperative hunting and cooperative breeding. My research focuses on (1) how predators that are cooperative hunters and/or breeders may affect their local ecosystems differently than do non-cooperative species, (2) exploring situations in which cooperative hunting and breeding may co-evolve, and (3) examining the influence of abundances of prey and environmental changes on the evolution of cooperative behaviors.
