Bradford Seminar: “Expanding Protected Areas for Vulnerable Species”

Yiwen Zeng, an associate research scholar in the Center for Policy Research on Energy and the Environment (C-PREE) at Princeton, will present “Expanding Protected Areas for Vulnerable Species.” This seminar will be held in-person (PUID holders only) and available via livestream (open to all).

Zeng will discuss how expanding the world’s protected areas could better safeguard biodiversity, ensure ecosystem functions, and deliver ecosystem services to communities. He also will talk about potential synergies of protecting more habitat with the growing interest in mitigating climate change through nature-based solutions and carbon-offset markets.
